David has been a life-long soccer player, coach, and enthusiast. His playing career
started at age 5 and progressed through the collegiate level where he earned numerous
awards including All-America Honorable Mention honors. He subsequently has played for
high-level club teams in PA, TX, and NY. With over 25 years of coaching experience at
all levels from U6 through collegiate, he is passionate about soccer and in passing on
his love for, and knowledge of, the game to each player he coaches.
David became involved with the Arsenal program back in 1993 when he started coaching
his oldest son's U6 House team. Since then he has also coached his other three children,
some of whom still play, at all levels of the House and Travel programs. David joined the
Board of Directors in 1997 where he has served as House Coordinator, Vice President/Travel
Coordinator, and now Director of Coaching (DOC).
As the DOC, David is heavily involved with Program Development with a focus on standardizing
and improving the overall player and coach experience in both the House and Travel programs.
He oversees the coaches, facilitates player try-outs, and helps with team roster selection.
In addition to his DOC responsibilities, David will coach the U19 Boys' Travel team in 2008.
He also coaches the U14 Boys' team, NYW State Champions in 2007, for the Buffalo United Soccer
Club, WNY's Premier-level club. David holds the USSF "C" coaching license.
