Adult Recreation Co-ed (Parent's League) Information
  • The 2010 Adult Recreation Co-ed Soccer registration is open! Please register early so that we can organize teams.

2010 information letter and 2010 registration form contact Rachel Vasbinder

The Arsenal co-ed Adult house league is a great way for parents of Arsenal kids and others to enjoy the experience of playing soccer and getting exercise in a fun and non-competitive environment. The league is open to anyone age 30 and over and no experience is required.

We are looking forward to the sixth edition of the recreational co-ed Adult league this summer. The games will again be played Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m.

The season will be 10 games this year, and the league will start at the conclusion of the Arsenal Youth house league. The league will begin Sunday July 11th, and run 10 consecutive Sundays up to and including September 9, 2010. All activities will be at Knox field. Games will be held on Sunday from 6:00-7:00 PM., and pick up practices will be on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm. YOU MUST BE REGISTERED TO PLAY IN GAMES.

The fee for registration this year will be $55 per participant. This will cover the cost of insurance, referee fees, and a team tee shirt jersey. To register, mail a completed registration form (available at the Arsenal web site at www.auroraarsenal.org) along with your registration fee (payable to Aurora Arsenal) by June 14, 2010 to:

    Aurora Arsenal Adult Recreation League
    PO Box 132
    East Aurora, NY 14052

Late Registrations will be accepted until June 30, 2010, but registrations post marked after June 14 will require a $10 late fee ($65 total). Please register early, as team composition depends on a completed player pool.

Teams will be organized in an attempt to distribute experienced players evenly throughout the teams. Accommodations will be made to place spouses on the same team, but other arrangements and pre-formed teams cannot be accommodated.

The Arsenal club is always looking for volunteers. One way that you can help is by volunteering to manage your team. Team managers are responsible for coordinating with the members of their team, distributing schedules, and notifying teammates of any changes that may come up throughout the season. You can indicate your desire to be a team manager or to volunteer in another capacity with the club by checking the appropriate box on the registration form.

We also have openings for team sponsors. If you are interested contact Steve de Boer at SdeBoer@verizon.net.

If you have any questions, please contact me.
